Supreme Court Upholds FCC’s Power To Fine Regulated Parties Without Jury Trial
06/09/2026On June 4, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court issued an opinion upholding the authority of the Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) to issue administrative forfeiture orders for violations of the federal communications laws, which certain carriers had argued violated their right to a jury trial.
